Contracts / Sales Support Administrator

We have an exciting opportunity to be part of a team working with our customers and sales teams who are located in the U.S., Latin America and Canada, managing equipment and software contracts to drive Gerber's revenue growth.
Responsibilities include order entry, order acknowledgment, scheduling, customer invoicing and shipment as well as managing all contractual requirements.
This position requires effective interaction and good communications with various functional groups including Sales, Manufacturing, Engineering, Product Management, Operations, Customer Support, Credit and Field Service to convey customer requirements and to monitor/communicate delivery performance. Extensive customer communication and coordination on a variety of elements related to assigned orders is required.
The Contract Administrator must be a self-starter and able to multi-task under tight time-lines. Key responsibilities include:Ensure ERP sales order entry is complete, timely and accurate.
Ensure contracts meet all financial policy requirements including pricing, payment terms, and contractual terms and conditions.
Interpret contract language and consult with management and corporate legal as needed for matters requiring legal interpretation.
Engage with and support Sales team throughout the order cycle.
Coordinate scheduling and logistics arrangements with customers.
Communicate with both US and China Operations and Logistics teams.
Ensure the obligations of contracts are fulfilled throughout the duration of the contract term. Conduct routine review and response to customer contract demands as needed.
Ensure customer financial obligations are satisfied timely in support of scheduled ship date.
Maintain all contractual documents.
Attend daily production meetings to discuss and review status and action plans for orders in process.
Participate in weekly order review meetings with management.
Maintain shipping forecast for all orders. Participate in weekly forecast reporting. Participate in month end closing process and reconciliation of revenue.
Participate in other company-related or departmental initiatives as required.
Bachelor's degree in business or finance required.
5+ years related experience in contracts, credit & collections, logistics or sales support.
Extremely strong customer service skills, strong business acumen and positive attitude required.
Strong mathematical, analytical, reasoning and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with short turn-around times.
Ability to handle multiple activities, contracts and customers simultaneously.
Ability to operate independently and within a team.
Ability to communicate effectively, both internally with technical staff, peers and management as wellas external customers. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Superior organization skills and attention to detail is.
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel is required; proficiency in MS Access is a plus.
Knowledge of SAP ERP system preferred.Desired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Previous contract administration experience in a manufacturing environment.
Project management skills a plus.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
